Terms and Conditions
We make every effort to ensure that all the information on our website is up to date, accurate and complete. However, we are only human and mistakes can happen, so you should check all important points with one of our staff before making your purchase decision based on the information contained on this website.
Where changes to specifications occur we would generally expect improvements.
We do not supply any unit with iva as standard if you require iva it must be ordered as an optional extra at £1999.
Due to the nature of progress in manufacturing standards, and changes in legislation, it is not always possible to keep the product details up to date. Where changes to specifications occur we would generally expect improvements; the vagaries of legislative bodies are beyond our control though, so please ask, particularly if you are dependent on something technical that you cannot check just by looking at our samples. We do all we can to keep our displayed prices accurate. However, if someone makes a mistake, knocking off thousand of £’s with a typing error, we cannot be held to that price. If you spot such a glaring mistake, we would be obliged if you could let us know and we can get it corrected as soon as possible.
We do not warrant or guarantee in any way that your tow vehicle is compatible with any of our trailers, you must seek advice on weights etc. from your vehicle manufacturers.
Please check your towing entitlement on your driving licence.

HOW TO LIST
IF YOU ARE LIVING LONG TERM IN THE UNIT YOU MUST VENTILATE AND USE AN ELECTRIC DEHUMIDIFIER IN EACH ROOM TO TAKE THE WATER OUT OF THE AIR
TURN MATTRESES REGULAR AND CLEAN UNDER THEM
DO NOT COVER UP ANY VENTILATION VENTS OR HEATING VENTS
DO NOT RUN HEATING ABOVE 25 DEGREES CENTIGRADE 78 FARENHEIT
As the product is not trimmed like European trailers inside you will find that they use putty to cover joints and staples etc this is how they are built you can lightly wipe any excess but again this is how they are built it is not a fault but a characteristic of the American units we cannot change this
When it’s been raining and you bring in your slide out its best to towel down the slideout roof first also regular maintenance of the sealing rubbers with something like Vaseline is good
Always ensure your caravan is level all round or your slideouts will not go in correctly and if pitched permanent you need to put axle stands midway on the chassis to avoid flexing the caravan does not need to be 100% level unless doors do not shut then take off stands and legs check they open and close and the level to that
All caps bungs and screw on end caps will be in the drop down door compartment for the water heater these are quite often taken out after testing to allow emptying of all points
Also new item some hot water heaters that work on both gas and electric !! you have to go outside into the drop down door for the water heater and turn it onto electric this way its always on electric
Any questions/problems on using anything or faults do not call us please email ACDCUSTOMER@GMAIL.COM your reply will be quicker
NEVER LOAD YOUR TRAILER INCORRECTLY YOUR NOSE/HITCH WEIGHT SHOULD BE ABOUT 5% + OF THE CARAVAN WEIGHT ALSO DO NOT OVERLOAD AT THE BACK AS THIS CAUSES THE CARAVAN TO SWAY
OUR WARRANTY IS PARTS ONLY RETURN TO BASE
OR PARTS AND LABOUR IF RETURNED TO OUR SERVICE CENTRE (UNLESS YOU BUY ON SITE SERVICE)
HOW TO DO ALL THE BASIC THINGS ON YOUR CARAVAN
(NOTE SOME ITEMS WILL VARY LIKE CABLE PLUGS AND AUTO LIGHTING ETC.)
TOILET SMELLS??
Manually bring in slide out video link —https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWCnT7JjV8A
BRAKE CONTROLLER (IF FITTED) not on R-pods
THIS IS LOCATED IN YOUR FRONT BELLY BOX IT USUALLY WILL HAVE + AND – ON IT WHICH IS VERY SIMPLE MORE AND LESS BRAKES SO TEST BY CONNECTING UP YOUR CAR SAY IN A QUIET ROAD AND PULL FORWARD IF YOU FEEL THE BRAKES ARE TOO AGRESSIVE ON THE TRAILER THEN STOP GET OUT AND PRESS – A FEW TIMES AND TRY AGAIN TILL YOU CAN FEEL THE TRAILER SLOWING YOU DOWN BUT NOT LOCKING IT BRAKES UP AND VICE VERSA
YOU MUST HAVE 12V POWER AT ALL TIMES TO YOUR BRAKE CONTROLLER SO IT IS WIRED TO THE BATTERY ON BOARD BUT YOU MUST HAVE GREY PLUG SPLIT CHARGING ON YOUR CAR TO KEEP THE BATTERY CHARGED WHILST GOING DOWN THE ROAD AS IF YOUR BATTERY RUNS OUT —-YOU HAVE NO BRAKES!!!
Working your room wall thermostat see these instruction links
Also if the power goes off whilst the heater is working it can take a few hours to re set and also will go to Fahrenheit if you want Celsius press – and plus together
Water filler leaks
Sometimes this is because they are being filled too fast and it kicks air back and overflows –sometimes after transit the interior pie that connect to the exterior filler becomes loose check this from the inside and tighten as needed also sometimes it’s not a leak but the drain taps are open they hang down from under the caravan they are usually left open after testing
Also mains water filler needs a pressure regulator they are £24.99 delivered from us
DO NOT TOW TRAILER WITH WATER AND WASTE TANKS WITH LIQUID IN THEM unless completely full
Water pump is pulsing or running all the time and water pressure is erratic
Please check the outside shower if you have one that the h+c taps are fully closed also see this video to adjust the pump
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtjssFGWA-I
SLIDEOUT DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY OUT AND CLICKS WHEN TRY TO PUT OUT –THIS IS USUALY LOW BATTERY NEED MAINS POWER AND BATTERY ON—you might have to do the final bit manually if no power see previous instructions

DO NOT USE CHEAP GAS (or use your gas bottle at an angle it must be stood upright) AS THERE WILL BE AIR IN IT AND THE APPLIANCES WILL NOT RUN CORRECTLY and cause damage even a fire !! ALSO ELECTRICITY SHOULD BE CLEAN AND IF GENERATED or on a site MUST GO THROUGH A SURGE PROTECTOR—always use a 4kg p/h propane regulator not a 1.5kg
if your regulator freezes up do not pour warm/hot water on it turn off gas and wait to de-freeze or take off and take inside till defrosted and put back on
Microwaves
As the microwaves are designed at 60hz and in the UK we get 50hz power you will find the clock on the microwave will not keep time there is nothing that can be done about this as is normal for the product being used in the UK
TVs if you have a TV with USA foreign plug on it do not change it to a UK plug and do not put in 220v socket as it will blow up the TV
Condensation
It is always best to have a dehumidifier to take the water out of the air and moisture traps in wardrobe slide outs as they are not heated and will have cold air meeting warm see pic below these are only £1 each put a couple in and monitor, we have people who call to say they have a roof leak but turns out to be condensation 99% of the time these units very rarely leak even on the slideouts
condensation can make your walls sweat and the underside of mattress get wet

Norcold refrigerators !! to adjust temperature
1. Open fridge door
2. At the top back there are silver fins
3. On a fin there is a wire with a black clip on it
4. To get the fridge warmer move the clip to the right maybe 4th /5th fin from the right
5. To make it colder reverse this procedure

6.Press “setup” in the remote control to exit factory mode.

TVS
AS THERE IS NO LONGER ANY TERRESTIAL TV SIGNALS APART FROM LOCAL YOU MIGHT NEED A CHEAP FREEVIEW BOX (LESS THAN £20 ON EBAY) AND AN INDOOR DIGITAL AERIAL (LESS THAN £15 ON EBAY) TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AS AMERICAN UNITS ARE NOT DIGITAL
IF YOUR PUMP WORKS BUT DOES NOT PUMP WATER THROUGH THE TAPS THEN THE BYPASS VALVE NEAR THE PUMP IS OFF –FIND THE PUMP AND TURN THE VALVE OPPOSITE TO WHAT IT IS AND SEE IF THAT WORKS IF NOT PUT VALVE BACK AS IT WAS -ALSO THERE IS AN ADJUSTIBLE PRESSURE VALVE ON THE PUMP
WATER HEATER AIR BLEEDING THERE IS IN THE WATER HEATER DOOR UNIT OUTSIDE OF THE CARAVAN 2 WAYS OF DOING THIS 1.THERE IS A VALVE THAT YOU CAN LIFT TO LET AIR OUT OR 2.YOU CAN OPEN THE EMPTYING NUT A BIT BUT THIS WAY DO NOT TAKE THE NUT OUT AS YOU WILL EMPTY ALL THE WATER ON YOURSELF –BOTH PROCEEDURES NEED THE PUMP ON AND WATER IN THE SYSTEM
PLEASE CHECK
ON A REGULAR BASIS CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS TO THE WATER PUMP AS IT IS A VERY FAST VIBRATING ITEM AND ON OCCASION WE HAVE FOUND THE CONNECTIONS COME SLIGHTLY LOOSE CAUSING A SMALL LEAK—ALSO ENSURE IF YOU ARE CONNECTED TO MAINS WATER YOU HAVE A PRESSURE REGULATOR FOR THE WATER SUPPLY BETWEEN THE SUPPLY AND THE CARAVAN OTHERWISE IF YOU HAVE TOO MUCH PRESSURE IT CAN BLOW JOINTS INTERNALLY ON PIPES APART WHICH WILL NOT BE WARRANTED SEE REGULATOR ON EBAY LINK -http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/American-Motorhome-RV-Water-Pressure-Regulator-3-4-With-Guage-/120932422974?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c2822553e
OR IS AVAILABLE FROM http://stores.ebay.co.uk/rvspares/
AC/HEATER
YOU WILL FIND THAT YOUR AC FAN WILL COME ON WHILST YOUR BLOWN AIR HEATER IS ON THIS IS TO CIRCULATE THE AIR –THIS DOES NOT PUT THE CONDENSER ON, ON THE AC IT’S TO MAXIMISE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE HEATER AND HELP ELIMINATE CONDENSATION IF YOU DON’T WANT THE FAN ON TURN IT TO OFF INSTEAD OF AUTO (OR TRIP IT OFF AT THE BROWN TRIP BOX IT WILL SAY AC)
YOU WILL FIND MOST GUIDES ON YOUTUBE IF YOU SEARCH HOW DO I XXXXXX ON MY TRAVEL TRAILER OR ENTER THE APPLIANCE MAKE AND MODEL
PLEASE EMAIL US WITH ANY OTHER ITEMS WE HAVE NOT COVERED SO WE CAN UPDATE THIS LIST—EMAIL ACDCUSTOMER@GMAIL.COM
